What about the Children

Have you noticed that in today’s media protests, riots, wars and the weather always seems to make the news.  Yes they are important, but what do you not see?  How many local or national news sources cover Missing Children, Abused Children or even Trafficked Children?

Why have the Children become less important?  They are the future.  We should always protect them.  As a country we spend money on all types of things both here and abroad, but when it comes to Children they seem to fall in the gutters.

Every State is required to have a database for Missing Children and adults.  If you look at these databases, most have no pictures of the children.  How can you find a child based on a description.  For example, w/f age 12 blond hair blue eyes, really that is the best a state or a police department can do.

One state I looked at had approximately 70% of the listings had no pictures, 70% is outrageous. As parents, grandparents, guardians and just concerned adults we have to demand that our leaders do something new to them, LEAD.  They need to take the problem and fix it and we need to demand that they do.  This has nothing to do with politics or parties, it has to do with doing their jobs.

Demand that our chosen leaders do this, if they refuse to do anything vote them out.  We have to many 20-to-30-year politicians that have done nothing for their whole careers
